A live German TV performance from the Brandenburg Gate and the first performance in Poland by an openly gay group are the highlights of a European tour by the Boston Gay Men's Chorus June 22-July 2. The 120 members of the chorus on the trip will also perform in Prague's Dvorak Hall to benefit the campaign for a registered partnership law for gay and lesbian couples in the Czech Republic. "I know when we sing the song 'Marry Us' there won't be a dry eye in the house," says BGMC Music Director Reuben Reynolds. The openly gay mayor of Berlin and the first lady of Poland are to greet the chorus, which will also perform benefits for local AIDS groups.
