The Exhibitionist reports that Nathan Lane will land on Broadway in "Butley," a role he played at the Huntington in 2003 for director Nicholas Martin. Maybe Broadway saw something I didn't. The much-ballyhooed Huntington production seemed a bit of a slog to me.

It's not about artistic quality, it's about $$$$$ -- and for some unfathomable reason, the horrifying Lane sells out Broadway runs. Anyway, wasn't this one "Broadway bound" from the start?

Maybe Nathan (and Nicholas) will get their comeuppance this time. The reviews for NL's "Odd Couple" weren't all that friendly. The real question is will there be anyone in the cast to outshine him this time?
