Regular readers know that I'm pretty much in awe of how many talented artists of all stripes there are in Newburyport, where I live. I get stories at the coffee shop on an almost weekly basis. Today's an interesting one, with a lot of consonants. Last night there was an artist reception at coffee shop, where I saw my friend Gordon Przybyla, a painter who lives up on High Street. Today he emailed me about his new project, a rather abstract music video called "Vost: The Film," set to the music of his across-the-street neighbor, composer and pianist Vardan Ovsepian, that includes movement by local dancer Wendy Hamel.
