The Berklee Latin Jazz All-Stars gig outside the ICA/Boston on July 10 drew the biggest audience yet for the Harborwalk Sounds: Berklee at the ICA free concert series - I'm waiting for a crowd estimate from Berklee - and so the outdoor venue is being reorganized to accomodate more listeners. The ICA has been granted a liquor license extension for a second beer-and-wine bar, and the stage has been relocated to better serve all the folks sitting on the broad staircase from the ICA down to the harborwalk, in addition to those already on the patio. The ICA gigs by Berklee student, alumni and faculty groups are every Thursday 6-8:30, and the same performers usually play at noon in Kendall Square as part of Berklee's free performance series there. Tonight's performer is the group Sol Melodiq (right), whose sound blends touches of jazz, rock, hip-hop, funk, classic soul, and world music. Next week, the Zach Hillyard Band (left).
