Off-topic: William Zantzinger is dead

Yep, the real-life creep skewered (as "Zanzinger") in Bob Dylan's classic "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll." The Times passes along that William Zantzinger has died of natural causes at 69. He was still pissed at Dylan, too. Wikipedia has all the backstory, from the fact that Zantzinger's blows may not have actually killed Carroll to the fact that he was still abusing black people as late as 1990, charging them thousands over the years for renting sub-standard shacks that he didn't even own. The Times also linked to this YouTube video of Dylan singing the song on "The Steve Allen Show" in early 1964, just after its release, and perhaps less than a year after Carroll's killing. Remember when music mattered?
