They don't show up in an online lyric search either, although those are notoriously unreliable. The LP is in a box somewhere in the basement, so finally I downloaded the song on iTunes - let's see if the IRS okays that expense - and no go

I had a lot of the same thoughts and feelings about that song. Lots of old love-lorn memories came to mind from that era of Jackson Browne.

"a classic of morose introspection." I would say that's fairly on-target!
