Lots of Gardner Museum reading this morning

The Globe has a fairly straightforward recounting of the latest theories in the theft of 13 works from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum 19 years ago this coming Wednesday. The Herald has declared this the year of the heist and has hooked up with museum security chief Anthony Amore and various players in the case to create improved sketches of the thieves and dig into one family's connection to the robbery. ... This also gives me a chance to send you to a NEJAR post that I missed last week, with pictures of the carriage house that the Gardner is going to knock down to make way for a Renzo Piano-designed addition. I have to say it looks like a pity that this strange structure is going.
