In these economic times, it's worth noting that the $1.3 million in new state funding for creative economy initiatives across Massachusetts announced by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Legislature's Joint
Committee on Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development on Wednesday is even with last year's payout. You'd think some clawbacks would apply, but no, so 37 groups got grants ranging from $4,000 to $70,000. I have to admit, the announcement reached me on Monday, but I was too busy trying to earn a living to note it here - I heard a brief report on WBZ on Wednesday, and otherwise the only report I've noticed was a brief writeup in Boston Business Journal. Hi all. There?s so much comedy on television. Does that cause comedy in the streets? Help me! I can not find sites on the: alcohol treatment programs. I found only this - gambling addiction treatment. Helping a person to stop drinking can - how can I help a person who has an alcohol use problem get treatment? Where to go from here.
