Steely Dan at the Wang: Double entendre heaven

This just in: Steely Dan will bring its Rent Party '09 tour to the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre for three special shows on July 22, 24 and 25. On the 22nd, they play the classic "Aja" album from start to finish, plus selected favorites. On the 24th, ditto for the "Gaucho" album. And on the 25th, it's the "Takin' It to the Seats" Internet Request Night, as the set list will be determined by internet votes from ticket-holders. Similar runs are set at New York's Beacon Theatre and the Chicago Theater, plus L.A.'s Gibson Amphitheatre. Those cities get a "Royal Scam" night, too, so let's hope that's on tap for the 23rd here. According to the Dan's web site, there's a pre-sale for Amex cardholders beginning this Saturday.
