I know a lot of you are interested in "The Fighter," the film about Lowell boxer Mickey Ward's hard life currently filming in Massachusetts with Mark Wahlberg (left) and Christian Bale. While the open auditions are past, the movie crew still needs a crowd to fill the arena while the actors and stuntmen film the bouts that will appear in the movie. That will happen in Lowell next week, July 14-15-16. The folks at beinamovie.com are getting paid to round up a fight crowd, and they want you. Seriously. There's no pay involved, but they promise free parking, food and prizes, as well as the excitement. (I've been on movie sets. Expect hours of tedium between brief bursts of excitement.) Anyway, if you're 16+ and this appeals, click here for all the details.
