Shakespeare + Studio 54 = a hit, even in Boston. The following release came in this afternoon and got knocked to the back burner by the WCRB news:
"The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) is pleased to announce that in response to critical and audience acclaim it is extending the run of The Donkey Show through Saturday, January 2, 2010. Weekly performances will take place in October on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8PM and Saturdays at 10:30PM, and from November onwards on Friday at 8:00pm and on Saturday at 8:00pm and 10:30pm at OBERON, 2 Arrow Street, corner of Arrow Street and Mass. Avenue, Cambridge, MA. Pre-show begins half-hour before curtain with open cash bar and dance floor. Ticket prices are $25, $39 & $49 (group rates are available) and can be purchased online at www.AmericanRepertoryTheater.org, by phone at 617-547-8300, or in person at the A.R.T. box office."
