The Huntington Theatre Company will mark Veteran's Day on Sunday (11/11) by offering free tickets to "Streamers" to military personnel and veterans and their families. Soldiers and vets can get up to four tix to the 7 p.m. performance of David Rabe's scorching Vietnam era play by simply turning up at the box office Sunday anytime from noon on. Obviously this offer is good only while tickets last.
From the Huntington web site: "In this powerful American masterpiece, four young soldiers fresh from boot camp wait anxiously in 1965 Virginia, watching the Vietnam conflict escalate. As they struggle to make sense of their new life in the army, tensions rise over race, sexuality, and class, culminating in an explosive act that changes them forever."
The Huntington is also offering all seats for $25 from Nov. 9-13 through Tuesday. Visit the site for details.
