Commonwealth Shakespeare Company is looking for a few good Greyhounds for the upcoming Shakespeare on the Common production of "A Comedy of Errors," July 31 through Aug. 16, outdoors at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston
Common. The production needs some greyhounds: "One dog is
needed each night, and will be required to walk across the stage on a leash,
accompanied by an actor. Interested greyhounds should call (617) 426-0863
for more information." Apparently they only want greyhounds with their own iPhones or Blackberrys. Still, stage acting has got to be a better deal for the dogs than racing, which is being phased out after the passage of a referendum last November. Oh, they also named the human cast for the show - complete list after the jump!
