Gambling is a chump tax. Chumps who dream of getting something for nothing fritter away all their disposable income while clogging the line at 7/11 due to agonizing over which scratch tickets to pick.

Casinos in a saturated market region during the worst recession since World War Two is a loser as well. Sheldon Edelson gave up on the idea and finding backers dumb enough to finance it may be a problem when we can't even finish Filenes or Harvards move to lower Allston.
