OK, it's not exactly arts, but you'll enjoy my BU Today story on Brian Fitzgerald, chief weather observer at Blue Hill Observatory atop Great Blue Hill. He's got to drive up that lonely mountain road every day, rain snow sleet whatever, to keep records continuous at the nation's oldest weather station. Cydney Scott's photos are great too. I visited on a beautifully warm, sunny October day, and I did what most people do and hiked up there, rather than drive. For those who heard about the deer hunt that went on there this past week, I asked and he and his dog were both wearing blaze orange.
