The best assignment I've had in my now almost year-old job at Boston University was to spend a day on the water in Duxbury with John Brawley, an oyster farmer who sold his harvest to famed Island Creek Oysters, his neighbors on the bay, before starting his own Sweet Sound label. This story and the terrific pictures and accompanying video by my colleagues at Bostonia magazine should give you a real feel for how hard he works. I hope between the lines you also get a salty sense of how delicious the oysters were that sunny late autumn day.
